1889 Honor Roll

THE ROLL OF HONOR. Howard County's Patriotic Dead From the files of the TIMES we make up the list of the men (some of them boys in age when they enrolled) who enlisted from Howard county to save the Union and who now sleep with the great "silent army." The list also includes the soldiers who are buried in Howard county, but who enlisted elsewhere. The list is as complete as we have been able to make it, but there are doubtless other names that ought to be added, but which have not been reported. All who know of other names that should appear on this "Roll of Honor" will confer a favor on the public by reporting them to the TIMES, so that they may be preserved in our columns for convenient reference.
